Buying Real Estate in Play Blanca

At least half of the tourists who  spend a week here, start asking about buying a place.  In fact, that is how we all got here.  If you are just a looky-loo or you are seriously investigating owning your personal beach paradise, it is worth seeing what is available. Playa Blanca has some fantastic opportunities ranging from unbuilt lots, to condos, to single family homes. It is one of the few places left in the world where you can afford to buy a place right on the beach.  It is not called Last Best Beach without reason.

 Mexican law is in the process of changing to permit foreigners to directly own beach properties.  In the past, foreigners usually owned through a trust arrangement.  But either way, the process of buying is fairly straight forward and there are English-speaking lawyers in the area who can guide you through.

Nearby Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa have English-speaking realtors who list some Playa Blanca vacation houses and lots and they are easy to contact through the internet.  But many of the Last Best Beach properties are sold directly by the owners.  The purpose of this page is to provide descriptions and contact information on some of those.
